Haus Wallner enjoys an excellent location in the center of Bad Hofgastein, where guests can easily reach cozy restaurants, shops, and summer activities. Just a short walk from Haus Breitenfellner, you’ll find AlpenTherme, a perfect place to relax after a day filled with activities in the fresh alpine air.
Only 300 meters from the house is the starting point for several hiking trails leading into the surrounding mountains, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and fresh mountain air. For families with children, there are plenty of activities; the nearby family-friendly Angertal region offers a range of outdoor activities tailored for younger adventurers. The bus to Angertal departs only 200 meters from Haus Breitenfellner, making it easy to plan a day trip.

Experience the perfect blend of modern comfort in a traditional alpine setting. Each of our apartments was completely renovated in 2018, ensuring a cozy and modern atmosphere during your stay. The apartments can accommodate 6 to 12 guests, making them perfect for a family holiday or a group experience together.
All accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen and a starter pack with a small amount of toilet paper, dish towels, a dishcloth, and 2 dishwasher tablets. A set of towels and bed linen per person is always included in the price.
Additional Options for Your Stay in Bad Hofgastein
If you have a baby or a small child with you, we can ensure there is a crib and a high chair ready upon arrival. The price is €10 per unit.

Plan Your Arrival and Departure: All You Need to Know
Before your arrival, remember to register with the local municipality and pay the tourist tax. It is your responsibility to register yourself and all your fellow travelers, as we are not allowed to share your information with the local authority. We have made the process as simple as possible by sending you a link to fill out a form.
Check-in is from 4 PM, where you can collect your keys and useful information from a key box. You will receive a code for the key box and the front door.
Upon departure, the apartment must be reset before checkout at 9:30 AM. This means the refrigerator should be empty, trash disposed of, the dishwasher started if you used dishes before leaving, and keys returned to the key box.
Before your holiday, you will also receive detailed information about arrival and departure, so you can go on holiday stress-free.
Parking at Haus Wallner
There is free parking at the house.
If you arrive in an electric car, it is possible to charge the car 200 meters from the apartment at a public parking lot near the lift. There are also several other charging stations in the town.
Tourist Tax in Austria: What You Need to Pay
In Austria, you must pay a tourist tax to the local municipality when you travel to Austria as a guest. It is mandatory and applies to persons over 15 years of age. The tourist tax (or kurtax) varies from destination to destination and is calculated per person per night. You will receive a link from us where you must register yourself and all your fellow travelers.

All guests who have completed the tourist tax form before check-in will receive a free Gastein Card (guest card) sent as a QR code via email. The guest card provides free access or discounts on many activities in the Gastein Valley, so you will surely find a good deal.
