Our spacious apartments at Haus Obauer can accommodate six to ten guests, making Haus Obauer the perfect choice for families, groups, or friends. The apartments are meticulously equipped to ensure your comfort and are decorated in a cozy Austrian alpine style. There are well-equipped kitchens in all apartments and enough space for the whole group to gather around the dining table.

All holiday homes have a fully equipped kitchen and a starter pack including a small amount of toilet paper, dish towels, a cleaning cloth, and 2 dishwasher tablets. A set of towels and bedding per person is also always included in the price.

Additionally, Haus Obauer has an elevator up to the apartments.

Haus Obauer’s apartments are therefore the perfect base for your holiday to create cozy memories together.

Practical Laundry Room in Haus Obauer

There is a laundry room in the building between the front and back houses. There is both a washing machine and a dryer.

Both cost 3 * 1€ coins to use. Laundry detergent is not included.

This accommodation is ideally located for both skiers and nature lovers, as it offers quick access to Ski Amadé, Austria’s largest contiguous ski area. From Haus Obauer, it is easy to get to both ski lifts and slopes with the ski bus, which stops right outside Haus Obauer. With its location in the heart of the town, the apartment is also near local shops, dining, and cultural offerings, ensuring a perfect combination of comfort and the charm of Austrian village life.

If you have a baby or a small child with you, we can ensure that a crib and high chair are ready upon arrival. The prices are 10 € per unit.

Plan Your Arrival and Departure: Everything You Need to Know

Before your arrival, remember to register with your destination’s local municipality and pay the tourist tax (kurtax). It is your responsibility to register yourself and all traveling companions, as we are not allowed to share your information with the local authority. We have made the process as simple as possible, so we will send you a link where you must fill out a form.

Arrival is from 4 PM, where you can pick up your keys and useful information in the key box between the front and back houses. You will be sent a code for the key box.

When you depart, the apartment must be reset before checkout at 9:30 AM. This means that the refrigerator must be empty, trash disposed of, the dishwasher started if you have used dishes before your departure, and keys must be returned to the key box.

Before you go on holiday, you will also receive detailed information about arrival and departure, so you can start your vacation stress-free.

Parking at Haus Obauer

Haus Obauer has its own parking garage on the ground floor under the apartments. Here you can safely park your car on the apartment’s parking space.

If you arrive in an electric car, it is possible to charge the car at the parking lot at Markt 83, which is located opposite Haus Obauer behind the bank. There are also several other charging stations in the town.

Always remember winter tires and snow chains when driving to Austria in winter.

Tourist Tax in Austria: What You Need to Pay

In Austria, you must pay a tourist tax to the local municipality when you travel to Austria as a guest. It is mandatory and applies to persons over 15 years old. The tourist tax (or kurtax) varies from destination to destination and is calculated per person per night. You will receive a link from us where you need to register yourself and all your traveling companions.
