Your Own Chalet in the Alps: Comfort and Facilities in Wagrain
At Chalet Dorf Wagrain Alpenleben, we have 13 premium chalets ranging from 115 to 125 square meters. Each chalet can accommodate 7-8 people. All chalets are well-equipped and have everything you need for your holiday. The chalets are charmingly furnished in a modern Austrian style. Moreover, each chalet has its own ski room with boot heaters if you’re there for a skiing holiday. Our chalets boast a fantastic location with wonderful views of the town and the surrounding mountains.
All holiday homes feature fully equipped kitchens and a starter pack including a small amount of toilet paper, dish towels, a cleaning cloth, and 2 dishwasher tablets. A set of towels and bedding per person is also always included in the price.

Additional Options for Your Stay in Wagrain
If you have a baby or a small child with you, we can ensure that a crib and high chair are ready upon arrival. The prices are 10 € per unit.
Need more towels? It is also possible to purchase extra towels at the destination.
Plan Your Arrival and Departure: Everything You Need to Know
Before your arrival, remember to register with your destination’s local municipality and pay the tourist tax (kurtax). It is your responsibility to register yourself and all traveling companions, as we are not allowed to share your information with the local authority. We have made the process as simple as possible, so we will send you a link where you must fill out a form.
Check-in is from 4 PM, where you can receive your keys and useful information at the reception. Outside of reception hours, you can pick up your key from a key box outside the reception. You will be sent a code for the key box.
When you depart, the apartment must be reset before checkout at 9:30 AM. This means that the refrigerator must be empty, trash disposed of, the dishwasher started if you have used dishes before your departure, and keys must be returned to the key box or reception.
Before you go on holiday, you will also receive detailed information about arrival and departure, so you can start your vacation stress-free.
Parking at Chalet Dorf Wagrain Alpenleben
Each chalet at Chalet Dorf Wagrain Alpenleben has an associated free parking space in the underground parking garage under the reception (max. 2.1 m high). You are welcome to drive up to the chalet for loading and unloading, after which you can safely park your car in the underground garage. The exception is the chalet “Hjorten,” which also has two parking spaces directly under the chalet.
If you arrive in an electric car, it is possible to charge the car at the Grafenberg lift, which is located next to Chalet Dorf. There are also several other charging stations in town.
Tourist Tax in Austria: What You Need to Pay
In Austria, you must pay a tourist tax to the local municipality when you visit Austria as a guest. It is mandatory and applies to persons over 15 years old. The tourist tax (or kurtax) varies from destination to destination and is calculated per person per night. You will receive a link from us where you need to register yourself and all your traveling companions.

All guests who have filled out the tourist tax form before check-in will receive the Salzburger Sportwelt Card Wagrain (guest card) free upon arrival. The guest card provides free access to or discounts on many activities in Wagrain, so you can definitely find a good deal.
