In Gastein Valley, in which Bad Gastein is located, you can experience 201 piste kilometers spread over 5 mountain peaks, and something for all levels of skier. In the valley there are five different ski areas: Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein, Dorfgastein, Sportgastein and Grossarl. At the bottom of Angertal there are child-friendly conveyor belts, which easily transport the little ones up the beginner’s hill, and when they first have control of the skis, they can even use the t-bar themselves and drive down the children’s slope. While the little ones are at skischool, parents can try Skiamadé’s longest piste, which ends in Bad Hofgastein. If you have small children, who are too small to ski, Angertal ski center also has a large playroom where the little ones can romp, therefore the ski center Angertal is a true children’s paradise for the smallest.

If you are in Bad Gastein, Dorfgastein and Grossarl are definitely also worth a visit. You will find exquisite wide slopes and varied skiing, for the whole family and all levels of skiers. It is easy to get around between the different ski areas in the Gastein Valley.
