Summer in the Alps is ideal for families from late June to early September, when lifts, playgrounds and mountain attractions are fully open.
– June: Quiet weeks, mild temperatures and perfect for families with smaller children.
– July–August: Warm lakes, long days and full activity programs.
– Late August-september: Fewer crowds, still warm and very relaxed atmosphere.
Typical daytime temperatures range from 20–26°C in the valleys and cooler, comfortable air at altitude – ideal for active children.
