David Helbock (keys), Johannes Bär (brass & more), and Andreas Broger (reeds & more) make up the bold and inventive trio Random/Control – one of Austria’s most celebrated jazz projects for over 15 years. From international festivals to acclaimed albums, they’ve redefined what a trio can be. And now, they’re embarking on a new adventure – this time with the sensational German vocalist Fola Dada.
Fusing jazz, classical, and experimental sounds, the group brings to life Helbock’s newest compositions: musical settings of poetry by William Blake, Emily Dickinson, and others. With Dada’s expressive voice at the forefront, the performance blends lyricism and virtuosity in equal measure.
