Bad Gastein selbst ist eine sehr hügelige Stadt, die aus einer Felswand besteht und viele schöne Gebäude hat, die zusammen eine gemütliche und charmante Atmosphäre schaffen. Bad Gastein war früher als exklusiver Kurort bekannt. Sie können die Felsentherme besuchen, wo Sie in heißem, mineralhaltigem Wasser direkt aus den unterirdischen Quellen baden können, oder eine der vielen Saunen ausprobieren.

THE CITY

Bad Gastein itself is a very hilly town, built up of a rock wall and has many beautiful buildings that together create a cozy and charming atmosphere. Bad Gastein was formerly known as an exclusive spa town. You can visit Felsentherme, where you can bathe in hot mineral-containing water, directly from the underground sources, or try one of the many saunas.

There is many opportunities in Bad Gastein. If you want to go shopping, a big recommendation would be Gastein Valley. You have an entire valley to go around looking at the different stores. A tip would be to go here in the evening, where the stores is open until 10pm. Also, who wants to shop during a hot and sunny day?
